Karin Ersching
born in 1965 in Backnang, trained at the Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik (College of Social Pedagogy), Schwäbisch Hall 1984-87.Worked as a special educationalist from 1987-93.
Ersching has been involved in puppet theatre work since 1982.
Co-founder of the figuren theater tübingen. Guest performances in Australia, Asia, Europe, India, Israel, Mexico, Russia and the USA. Apart from her engagement in the independent theatre scene, she also makes puppets and holds workshops to teach students how to operate them.

Georg Peetz
Studied acting at the “Schauspielschule Ulm”. He was member of the actors ensemble at the theatres in Kiel, Zwickau, Neustrelitz and Graz.As a guest performer he worked for the Municipal theatres in Stuttgart, Pforzheim, Dresden and Berlin. From 2004 – 2009 he was a member of the “German Municipal Theatre Temeswar” in Rumania where he was also directing and teaching.
Johannes Frisch
born in 1958 in Karlsruhe, musician. This improvisation expert looks back on more than three decades of international touring and numerous collaborations with various multi-instrumentalists. Frisch has been involved in a variety of music groups and projects, and has made records, undertaken tours and performed at festivals. He has worked on audio plays as well as theatre, television and film productions. As part of the “rat’n’X” group”, he is responsible for the creation of numerous musical pieces for the figuren theater tübingen.
Stefan Mertin
born in 1957 in Hamburg, studied Music, Theatre and Aesthetic Theory in Hamburg. Mertin has been involved in numerous musical projects for audio plays, television, film and theatre. He has made several recordings with various electronic "club" projects. As part of the “rat’n’X” group”, he is responsible for the creation of numerous musical pieces for the figuren theater tübingen.
Christiane Zanger
born in 1960 in Hamburg, studied cello from 1978-83 at the “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst”, Hamburg (graduated as a music teacher), 1983-86 studied acting at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar and in private lessons. Between 1986-90 engagements at the WLT Castrop-Rauxel, Schauspiel Bonn, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, between 1991-93 worked as freelance theatre musician, assistant director, and gave readings.1993-96 member of the figuren theater tübingen: direction, conception and stage music.
1997 Akademie Schloss Solitude (Stuttgart) scholarship. Freelance puppet-theatre director and author since 1998.
Ines Müller-Braunschweig
born in 1961 in Berlin. Studied acting at the “Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst” in Hamburg (graduated 1984).Subsequent engagements included the Landestheater Tübingen, the Stadttheater Konstanz, the WLB Esslingen and the Tübinger Zimmertheater. Müller-Braunschweig has been working as a freelance actress, lecturer and director since 1993.
1993-96 member of the figuren theater tübingen, co-productions with independent theatres including the “Figurentheater Wilde and Vogel”. Founded the Zikade Theater in 2000.
Lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (Academy of Music and Performing Arts) Stuttgart since 1996.
Enno Podehl,
born 1944 in Masuren. Studied Archaeology, Theatre Studies, Art History, Fine Art, state examination in Pedagogic Art.Lecturer at the Braunschweig and Oldenburg Universities.
1990-2007 professor of Aesthetic Communication at the Fachhochschule (specialist college) Hannover. Puppeteer at the “Theater im Wind” since
1978 (numerous international guest appearances throughout the 80s and 90s), puppet theatre stage director and publisher.
Patrick Michaelis
is a french actor who worked with many different directors through the contemporary theatre literature.Since 2009 he is performing in J.-Y. Picq’s „Donc“ and in „Minetti“ from Thomas Bernhard in the direction of Guy Lavigerie.
After long years with the freelanced company „Bagage de Sable“, he started in 2003 the artistic direction of „Théâtre Le Passage in Fécamp, Centre de Création Artistique in collaboration with Claude-Alice Peyrottes.

Studied Puppet Theatre from at the national “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst” (Academy of Music and Performing Arts) in Stuttgart (graduated as Master of Puppet Theatre).Works as a freelance choreographer, stage manager, tutor and actress. Established the “orange connection performing arts” company in 2001.
