Merle Smalla
born in Hanover in 1997, is a world inventor and figure artist. After studying art and collaborating with various theaters, she found her way into her own in-between worlds, which she calls "Merlarium".
She works on the border between visual and performing arts and develops exhibitions, performances and theater projects throughout Germany, based in Bremen. Collaboration with the "Theater der Nacht" in Northeim for several years. In 2022, Merle Smalla populated the newly created theater.garten with surreal forest creatures at the invitation of figuren theater tübingen.
