Sabine Ebner

The Austrian costume and set designer Sabine Ebner (born 1979 in Klagenfurt) first graduated from fashion school, then studied theatre design in London, at Ecole Lecoq in Paris, and with Achim Freyer at Berlin University of the Arts. In Vienna, she worked at a range of theatres including Burgtheater, Volkstheater, Dschungel, Metropol, Drachengasse, and Werk X, as well as at Schauspielhaus Graz, Grillo-Theater Essen, Komische Oper Berlin, and Philharmonie Luxembourg with directors such as David Bösch, Peter Raffalt, Philip Jenkins, Andy Halwaxx, and Julia Burger.

In the realm of stage and costume design, she has been continuously collaborating with Frank Soehnle / figuren theater tübingen for 15 years. On the pieces “Termitropolis”, “salto.lamento”, “Hôtel de Rive”, and “Nachtkonzert - Le Grand Pas de Deux”, among others.
